Originally designed and fabricated for Milan Design Week 2017 by The Mediated Matter Group — including Lios co-founders Chikara Inamura, Michael Stern, and Daniel Lizardo. A single 3-meter structural glass column and its dynamic lighting system were commissioned by Mori Building for its visitor atelier and presentation room. At one hour per cycle, the light moves far slower than anything experienced in Milan, creating the most subtle atmosphere possible in a space dedicated to careful thought.
